An Affair To Remember Westside Story was AMAZING!!

by themommiof4 on 6/17/14Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

We had a great time! The dancing was top notch and the costumes were beautiful! Westside Story as a ballet shouldn't be missed! It was truly a lovely evening.

an affair to remember was memorable

by seriousmom on 6/17/14Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

the dances were cute & beautiful but the presentation was entirely too long. There should either be 2 shows or cut some of the dances. A 4 hour recital is way too long - even though it was beautiful. Congratulations Devon!

I loved the dance recital! It was very professional and entertaining to watch. You could definitely tell that the entire dance studio worked very hard to make sure that everything was perfect. I would absolutely recommend Classic Image Dance Studio to everyone. My daughter loves dancing there. Thank you everyone who helped out with the recital it was wonderful!

Toy Story was energizing but a little long

    by Jewels16 on 6/21/10Orpheum Theatre - Phoenix

As a dancer who performed in many recitals, this show was a bit too long. My family and I all felt that 2 hours is the maximum. Dance routines tend to become repetitive and dancers begin to show signs of fatigue. Then routines become sloppy and uncontrolled. Rather than having dancers in several routines, limit their participation in numbers. Therefore, you maximize their performing potential. Further, when selecting a theme, the recital should revolve around the theme. The only connection we could make with regard to the title "Toy Story" was Act I. The remainder of the recital had nothing to do with theme "Toy Story". There are some very talented dancers at Classic Image and most of the numbers were very entertaining.
